I'm not feeling to good tonight. I went for a late dinner at mcdonald's and I sort of feel dizzy. It's been like months I didn't eat any fast food so I guess it's a sign that it isn't healthy. ...Duh ;O So i am now watching 'walking dead' last episode of season 2 but I have to pause at every 2 minutes to let the video load. So Here I am writing a new post while waiting for the full episode to load completely. Today, I am going to talk about bullies.
It takes me alot to be angry and to hate someone. Those people I hate are bullies! Actually there are two types of bullies and I hate those who just do it for fun. I was watching a documentary on youtube of bullying in Japan and it seems like a serious issue. Even the teachers aren't spared. Anyway, back to bullies here, I only got bullied once during my first year of high school but I won :) So I was playing on a swing with a friend of mine during lunch break. It was 30 seconds near our school so we go there when there are free seats. On that day, there were a bunch of boys that came and asked us to leave. I mean they were 5! 5 boys vs. 2 girls!! Really? Yes really! They were acting all tough and they told us that they have the right to own this place. So they told us to leave. I looked around me and there were some boys playing basketball and a supervisor walking nearby. So I thought: 'they can kick my ass but if anything happens, I'll just scream and people will come help me.' So I replied: 'No...' So what do you expect from them? Of course they weren't happy. They kicked some sand toward my direction and they were walking behind pretending they are about to push me off my seat. My friend kept saying: '...Let's go Gloria...' I said: 'If you want to go, go ahead but I am not leaving.' She felt uneasy and I did feel bad about it. I'm not a person who likes to be given orders. Nobody tells me what to do except for my parents. So who the hell are they to order me around? I came there when it was available so I leave when I want! The boys continued to walk around and tell me to leave but I pretended to not hear them. Now that I think about it, I wonder how it feels for 5 boys to get owned by a girl. I also noticed they just tried to scare me the whole time and weren't able to do anything. After a while, I think a group of girls from the second grade saw us getting pestered by those ignorant fools. So they bullied them back. That was enough to make me happy. I told my friend: 'Ok let's go...' So we left the boys getting bullied lol.
I learnt alot from that situation. It is important to not let others run you around. You do what you want because it makes you happy and not because they tell you what to do. As long as you show weakness, you'll be an easy target. Bullies hurt people who let them do it. They won't bully people who fight back. So you bullies want to tell me to go off somewhere from my swing? You can go f*** yourself! O.O When I got into third grade of high school, the bullying was still there. When they cross the border, I slap them across the face. It happened when I had to pull and twist their ear to tell them: 'Stop bothering me or you'll find your head on a plate!' I mean you need to show them that you're your own boss. So i did bully them because i showed them I'm a tough cookie. I did witness some people getting bullied and I did want to protect them. Sometimes I did stand up for them when it crosses the line and in other occasions I didn't. The reason is the fact that I can't always be there to protect everyone. You need to stand up for yourself and claim your birth rights as a human being. Running away is always something you will do and you will always depend on someone to help you. Guess what! People won't always be there for you. So you'll need to protect yourself. If I was able to stand up against 5 boys, you can do it too. My friends always tease me of my height but it's not something that stopped me against bullying.
One day, I had a friend who got physically abused by a bully. She cried during class and the teacher was then told by a student of what hapenned. The bully and my friend were both in he same class. You know what the teacher did? Nothing! He's like :'ok...let's start class' This is not ok!!!! I mean, as an adult, and especially as a teacher, you are suppose to at least say something. Staying silent and let the bully sip with that means that bullying is ok. I mean he has not been punished. My friend didn't do anything and she got hurt!!! I don't know what is happening with this sick society.
What does bullying includes? Here is the list:
- Hitting someone
-Verbally insult someone
- Putting someone in a locker
- Putting someone's personnal stuff in a toilet, etc...
- Create rumors (like if you touch her, you will catch her disease)
- Spread the rumors
The last two don't seem obvious but it does hurt the feelings of that victim. Be considerate. The worst of all kind is when a group is ganging against one person. My situation wasn't that bad but I know there must be people who experienced a group who kicked a single person. I mean what's the point of doing that? How can someone be proud of such cheap victory? You want to fight? Do it 1 vs 1. Anyway, bullying is soo stupid. A bully is not a friend!!!
So watch this vid to get yourself fueled at at bullies:
I will be writing about some people who became bullies under unfortuante circumstances. I am off to watch my episode of 'walking dead' now.
