Friends!

Hello!

I am going to talk about friends...not the american tv show :P Let me introduce you to my friend Donita  *that's her nickname*.

It's her on the left and me on the right. I met her at Vanier college in physic class I think. We don't see each other very often but we do keep in touch once in a while. It's great to do so. We ate pho that day. Pho is a vietnamese beef noodle soup. I wished we could of saty together longer but I had to go to class. If you ask me one thing I will remember about her for the rest of my life, I'll tell you. I bought myself a new sweater that day and I wore it to school. Then she asked me:

Donita: Wow! You have a new sweater!
Me: Yes! :)
Donita: It's soo yellow! Soo cute!
Me: Thank you! XD
Donita: Can I touch it?
Me: ummm....sure....@_@

lol ...and then she poked me. That moment was awkward but cute! That's what makes her soo unique. Haha! Another thing I will never forget about her was during Inorganic Chemestry class. We had an experiment in the laboratory. We were in a pair of two but we weren't together. I was really focused on my work and didn't pay attention to what was happening around. All of a sudden i heard a large  BOOM. I looked around and I saw Donita. Her hands were covering her face in shock. Her team made an explosion. The teacher came right away and scolded them a little. Hahaha! I wasn't laughing at how the teacher scolded her..no that is mean. I was rolling on the floor when I saw the grey spot on the ceiling! haha Come on! It's good old memories you need to keep.

Now let me introduce you to Melly. From my circle of friends, she is the person I knew for the longuest time. We first met when we were 12 years old. So here she is! :)

When I went over her house for the first time, I was soo embarassed at myself when I saw her bedroom. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy. lol I still look at my bedroom today and anyone would think my room belongs to a guy. On top of that, her baking skill is excellent! I need to learn alot from her. =_= One thing I will never forget about her? Yes... There was a time I was really sad and I even had an argument with my mom. She came over my house right away and cheered me up. She's like a sister to me.

Friends are soo important. Without them, I wonder what would happened to me. I could be sitting in a wheelchair right now or become vegetable. This is a reference to Thany who once saved my life. But I will talk about this another time. I was talking to Eva the other time and she told me that: 'I don't have alot of friends. I can count them with my fingers. But I know I can call each one of them if I really need help no matter what the time is.' That's when I came to realize that she was entirely right. I have around 130 friends on facebook but it doesn't mean anything. From those people, there are less than 20 people whom I can really rely on. The rest are just a bunch of people I met before or used to be closed with. Somtimes, it's just the smallest thing you do that changes everything. It could be something soo simple not even worth to mention that can lift someone's spirit up just like when Sue texted me when I was down.

Nix and Tam can be ....childish sometimes lol but they can be very nice. They encouraged me for my projects and boosted up my confidence. I remember when I bursted in tears when I was having a burnout and he called me right away to cheer me up as well. The same goes for Tam. My mom and I went shopping with her friend at the mall. Somehow, I came across Tam and his sister so I told my mom that I would meet her back at a certain spot in an hour. So and hour later, I went to that spot and she wasn't there. The mall was closing and it was getting empty. Tam helped me to search for her for 30 minutes and we finally found her. My mom just totally forgot about me and only remembered when she got to the car at the parking lot! -_-

Last but not least is Povid! I know those who know both of us would be like: 'What the hell Gloria?' I know!  :) Me and him aren't really close to each other but we do meet each other when I'm with Thany sometimes. I was calling Thany at one night because I needed to talk to him urgently about my tax report but he didn't answer. I called since the afternoon and no answer. I suddenly got worried. Why isn't he calling me back? Did something happen to him? So I texted Povid in case he was with him. He texted back to me saying that Thany didn't respond so he doesn't know. I got even more worried. I just wanted to choke Thany at that point. Then I got a call from Povid and he asked me if I've finally reached thany and he even proposed to go look after him at his appartment. It was around midnight and I thought that I shouldn't bother him. It's simply the fact that he volunteered to go look after him that I remembered what Eva told me. I learned on the next morning that Thany simply fell asleep and his phone was out of battery. Povid even called me the next day to ask if I was able to reach him. Really Thany....you deserve a spank on the booty.

Friends aren't just people you hang out with but they are there to help you when you're in real trouble and don't expect anything in return. They help because they want to. I'm glad I'm surrounded with good people. But let's not forget that we musn't abuse their kindness. If you are a fool who always depend on them for everything, I guarantee you that you'll loose your friends in no time. Keep them safe  and treat them good because they are precious.

Ok I'm done with my rambling :P My friendlist has more than the names mentionned here so for those I didn't mention, no worries. I didn't forget about you! :) Alright, goodnight everybody!

ps. I know you guys might not care but my flu is getting better lol.
