Hi friends,
It's been a while I didn't write a post. I was a little lazy and there wasn't any topics I was interested to write about. Of course I do have alot of things to share but I wasn't in the mood. The viking and his wife went to Toronto since friday morning with my aunt. So I'm really happy that I can have some peaceful moments this weekend. Unfortunately, they are coming back tonight.
So what hapenned this week? I went shopping and I had some errands to do. It was the wedding of my old friend yesterday. I went to the morning ceremony. It's too bad I can't post any pictures because I really felt pretty and took alot of pictures with my friends. After the ceremony ended, I went back home and prepared myself for the evenng reception. Thany was supposed to pick me up and he got at my house way to early. I got nervous and ran like crazy in the house. =_= When we arrived at the reception, i realized I forgot the camera!!! @_@ OMD! I was sooo angry at myself and Thany. I got soo nervous for him coming early and I forgot it. On the other hand, Thany had his camera so I was able to take pictures. But it's not like having your own. You are free to take any pictures you want and it's also less hassle to ask the owner to send you the pictures. THe worst part is the fact that I forgot to apply my eyeliner!!! Eyeliner is my sexy weapon and I totally forgot about it.
Anyway, the food was nice and I did enjoy the day overall. It's not the first time I attended a wedding. My mom knows alot of people here. So whenever she was invited, I had to tag along because she didn't want to hire a babysitter and it would also be an experince of how you must behave once you enter in the community. So far, I only learnt the 'do' in a wedding and the behaviour you must follow. However, I learnt some 'don't' for last night's wedding.
I am going to be brief...
-Always look/act graceful
-Remember you are going to a wedding and not a club
-Alcohol is supposed to be a complement to your meal...in this situation
-Don't forget that you are attending an event where there's alot of people so you should behave yourself
This is just the general standard to follow going anywhere. I am glad I noticed this from a very few people last night. One embarassing moment is when one went wild and the waiter glared... >_> Oh boy...
That's it for today. I will be writing some more this coming week and hopefully I will get more energy! Happy Easter everyone! :)
